I have a counselling certificate, a Bachelor in Psychology, and a Master of Public Health, all completed in my home country, the USA. After moving to Biel with my Swiss husband, I worked first at the Institute for Social and Preventive Medicine (University of Bern) and then at the Adolescent Health Center (CHUV, Lausanne), with an emphasis on preventive\u00a0 medicine and training. Over time, I became increasingly interested in a holistic approach to health and healing. With a strengthening conviction about the power of the mind-body connection, I began to study topics like alternative healing approaches and energy field dynamics, as well as themes related to spiritual growth. After reading Dr. Eric Pearl\u2019s book, I made a huge turn in my professional life by entering training in Reconnective Healing and The Personal Reconnection for which I became certified in spring 2012. Shortly thereafter, I opened my Energy Works practice.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I regularly attend health and wellness seminars and seek personal training to further my skills in the craft of helping others to heal. I have practiced yoga for many years, grow a veggie garden in the summer, and hike with my husband. We have two sons.<\/span><\/p>\n
